About Eric Braham

 

Eric is an emerging artist who currently resides in Morgantown, West Virginia. His artwork consists of a variety of subject matters including nature, wildlife, and people. He likes to work in both oil and acrylic.

 

Eric has been interested in art since he was young and started painting in high school. He briefly studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, then went to work as a mason in construction. Later, he became a general contractor and was able to utilize his creative energy by designing and building residential and commercial buildings. During these projects, he implemented some of his artistic skills by creating an array of design elements such as sculpted walls, waterfalls, and fireplaces that have been seen in magazines and on television. Retiring from construction, he is pursuing his first passion of painting.  

 

Over the years he has been studying on his own to refine his artistic skills in both oil and acrylic mediums. In 2010, one of his oil paintings, Patient for a Breeze was selected for the "Best of West Virginia Juried Exhibition - 2010" at Tamarack Fine Art Gallery. Eric's goal is to make each painting even better than the last.
